That was a Timelapse.   I think it picked up some vibrations that could be improved by mounting th pocket separately.

Ive just redesigned it to take a larger magnet and to give more clearance to the gimbal.  .

Actually that  would be mark 3 but I need to wait for the new magnets to arrive as Ive gone for a 30mm x 10mm neodymium magnet for extra holding power.

The 20x5mm magnet is doing a fairly good job but Id like it to be a bit more stable.

I could have gone bigger but I feel like I dont want to add any more width as the whole point was to have a very pocketable mounting system for days when I dont want to carry any sort of tripod.

Still it is nice to watch in motion and even a bit mesmerizing to watch.

Cheers H,   I designed and built that myself.    Its about 4 foot tall and to be honest I messed up as that combined with the corner table I built for it, Im stuck where I can put it as it will only fit in one room in the house.  

Is that your printer?

Nice, I would love to try one of those for all the little things you need to make custom. It must take allot of panning to design what you want.

I tend to iterate designs in Fusion 360,   the prints are so cheap you can concentrate on one or two features and get them right and then move on to the next part of the challenge.

In hindsight as I was thinking about this t a bit more,  the wooden corner table I built to stand it on would be easier to shorten or replace.

Yes,   you have to consider how the item will print,    obviously you cant print in mid air,  (actually you can if its a bridge but thats another story)
