Nice find DA.    Very informative video.  I do wish that DJI would give us a 15 second shutter speed in a future FW update .

That would be really nice if they do that,   I was just live-streaming with mine and I found that you loose the digital zoom in live stream mode which really hacked me off.

That's a real drawback.  I wonder if that is something they can add in a future FW?

The zoom seems to be missing in half of the modes,  it's quite frustrating especially as no tele photo lens has appeared for it yet.

I was hoping that eventually Freewell would manufacture one.  Still nothing showing on their website.  Even nothing on aliexpress yet for tele photo lens.

There's a 10x macro on Ali but Im not sure how that would work for distance object

Seems to be working, although the forum has glitched for me off and on all day.  Running slow now like it is off a back-up server.

For that cheap price it might be well worth trying it out.  The only problem is that aliexpress shipments to the US are turtle slow.  Actually, anything shipping from China to US comes super slow.

I meant the thread where they announced the new firmware for the Pocket 3,  there were pinned at the top of the section but this one is gone but the others like action 4 are still there.

I think it is well worth a try, especially if you can get it at a discount in addition to the already low price.

That would be great.  I did see where one off the Mods posted a reply that a new FW update was coming this moth so it should be soon.

The DJI engineer that responded to me said this month subject to the tests going ok.

Hopefully the tests went well as we only have 10 days left i this month.  If it slides then it could get delayed by the Chinese New Year closures.

I had a feel8ng it might drop today (Monday) as the old thread disappeared Friday but so far no sign of it.

I think I realized why they didnt put longer shutter times. Remember - camera is on 3 motors and they probably have some movement that might be seen in a 15 sec shutter. People that dont understand physics would expect it to take sharp photos, but it wouldnt be the case due to slight deviation. Therefore dji is afraid of people complaining..? As for me I would love the feature anyway.

In time lapse mode if you set the ISO to the lowest and leave shutter in auto it will pick a faster than 1s shutter if the light is low enough.

I could give it a try someday. But it's super inconvenient as we have a lot of light pollution here so I can't make one from my backyard.

Do you not turn off the street lights overnight?   We do here except on Friday & Saturdays were they are left on later.

When they first started doing it here the outrage was huge, but there wasnt any ill effects from it.  and some nights like New years they leave them on all night anyway.

Ironically after they started doing it they they threw away all the old street lights and installed new LED ones.

That also helps a lot for the energy consumption.
These old ones were quite bad. (at least the ones we used)
