Snow in the neighborhood - Night pic. Staten Staten Island, NY I didn't expect the snow to bring on so much brightness in the evening. Will have to change some settings.

At least you have the knowledge to correct the settings for a future night shot.  I found a local photographer that recently retired and he shot a lot of photos for National Geographic.  I'm trying to get him to give me some lessons.

I edited in lightroom. I didn't like the noise so I put it in Corel and hit the smart fix. It wasn't so smart. I even turned it down

I have difficulty with the night shots. The sensor creates too much noise with the auto exposure. It sets the ISO too high. Most film makers set thing manually to keep the ISO low. The problem is if you turn towards any darkness you lose your view, which scares the heck out of me at night. Too many people crash at night because of it.

That's great shot, the golden light effect is really nice.

Better to be safe for sure.  We can't have pilots blinded.

I was shooting a commercial a guy who wanted my to shoot manual at night on a terrace. As I backed away from the shot and moved sideways away from the lit apartment the screen went pitch black. The drone light were off to prevent glare on the window. It was like searching for a black rock in the sky. I changed the settings back to auto and  it was good. Lesson learned.

Probably best to do those tweaks manually.
The auto-fix results from anything I've used seldom look great.

I usually hit auto to see what Light room suggests then I go back and edit.

It's funny, I went up after Christmas and I couldn't believe there were so few lights up this year.I guess either people didn't have the holiday spirit, or they were worried about their energy bills.

There were less here too but many that did still have them up and some still have them on.

I think it could but the fashion is on the cooler colours and the blues and purples a lot.

Well I found out you definitely want to use that sauce very sparingly.  It has some datil peppers mixed in it.  They are 120 times hotter than jalapeno peppers.  It's like starting a 5 alarm fire on your tongue.  You know they are hot when your tongue is burning, your eyes start watering and your nose starts running.  I love spicy stuff but this stuff is out of this world hot!!!
