Out flying last evening as the sun was setting and the moon was just not too high for the upward gimbal.

Really nice capture Droffarc.    Forever, I've thought the moon was white in color.  Boy did I find out I was totally wrong.  Was helping youngest grandson with some STEM homework and came across this shot by two astrophotographers that shows the true color of the moon.

Amazing! Shows what our atmosphere does.
Here out mountains in the distance look blue but when you go further inland, they lose the blue hue.

No doubt about what our atmosphere can do.  I've seen some really interesting shots on the NASA website that show what earth looks like from the astronauts perspective while they are in space.

I often watch that kind of stuff.

Wow, thanks for the referrals Droffarc.  Between the two of them they have a plethora of really cool videos.  Definitely will share the YT sites with my grandson that is doing STEM subjects at this time.

  I guess I should have been a little more specific.  In the deep south we kind of twist words around to mean different things.  It's really a savory burger.  You  just need some fresh ground beef (probably how it got the roadkill moniker), shiitake mushrooms, onions, cheese, lettuce, an egg to bind the patty together better and my own special seasoning (sugar, paprika, turmeric, garlic powder and salt and pepper).  Put it on the barbie and 7-10 minutes later you're eating on a really savory roadkill burger.
