This was a somewhat unorthodox implementation of the DJI Mic 2. I clipped both transmitter units onto a stereo mic spacer bar with the receiver unit in the middle, with the whole contraptions hooked up to my Nikon Z8. I'm really pleased with how this recording turned out - it's best enjoyed with headphones!

Wow, that was quite the ingenuous configuration for the Mic 2.  Great job on the audio.  Sounds like you were having a really hard rain or possibly even a hail storm.

wow interesting, when I try that with my Wireless mic 2 connected directly to my Osmo action 4 it doesn't pick up background sounds hardly at all....
is there some setting for better omnidirectional sound when using the receiver vs connecting directly to the camera?

An imaginative setup.

I'm not sure what the pickup pattern is for these mics, my stereo mics are configured in a different angle for better stereo separation (oriented towards each other, like a X)
But overall nice to hear.
