Inspired by the music of  'Trinity,' who recorded this piece of music just for me.DJI Pocket2 and Action2 were used to shoot the video clips.The still frame thumbnail is from a flight of the Phantom4.

Was that Waulkmill waterfall in the video Mr B.,  I seem to recall you visited there before.

Yes. I gathered together some water-themed clips from my activities last year, to put to John's music.
It seemed appropriate.

Trinity is the pseudonym for a musician friend of my younger daughter
Like-minded music-lovers from the NW of England.

Which part are you not happy with?    Apart from a little shakiness I noticed at the stream nothing is leaping out.

Thanks. Although I'm not happy with YT's rendering of the video. And the timing of some of my transitions is off. When I heard the music for about the third time, it just made me think of water movement.
So I gathered a year's worth of water-related clips from my archives and cobbled them together.
I think the music and the theme merit an improved version2, later this year

The original clips look much better. I'm wondering if it's because they were shot at differing frame rates, and when edited, that caused a bit of jerkiness rather than a smooth motion-blur.
I'll try to redo them all at the same settings next time I visit those locations. Most of them are within easy reach of here.

Could well be,  especially if you started with a 30fps clip and then added 25fps.

I'm pretty sure that's the cause of the issue.
Ah well. Live and learn. 30FPS only from now on

Hoping for the same here but no luck. At least I'm teaching a photography class tonight to about 10 people. We will have to shoot indoors but it's something to do.

It's funny. I rarely go back to edit old videos. I should because I have many bad ones. Maybe thats the winter project I need.

Trinity is a smalltown group of musicians. My younger daughter is the drummer.  This was a solo by the guitarist.

Well he/she is a very talented guitarist.  I bet your daughter could give me some great tips on drumming.  I'm making progress but seems likes it's going very slow.  Maybe the gent I'm taking lesson from is just trying to drag the lessons out to make more money.

Very nice views. The video indeed looked somewhat jittery, but maybe that was due to the differences in framerates, as suggested. The ducks were a nice bonus. And as for the audio track, it sounds like your daughter's band is doing a great job

Just had a quick 10 minute flight to test D-Cinelike, but the win d has got up again.
I'm leading a walk this morning so I haven't much time for experimentation.

The wind here this morning was terrible,     made walking into the wind very difficult,   although the clouds have mostly blown away the trees still look very disturbed.

I've applied 4 different LUTs to the footage and they all look un-natural.
I think I'll stick with natural daylight.

While some small framerate differences can be helped with an application called Handbrake (it helps convert video from one framerate to another), it often is a better idea to keep all the footage at a same framerate whenever possible.

And great to hear the band is enjoying the playing

Nice we had the same weather here but I must confess to spending most of the day in the workshop making a mahogany print frame for my cyanotypes.
