Yes,  the skeleton was found in one of the caves there when they were doing drainage work if I recall correctly,   the skeleton is now in the natural history museum in London, which has some very curious exhibits like this one.

That body structure and proportions are a bit odd for sure.

It sure was,    I found it in a little alcove hiding away in the history museum.

Guess they didn't want it front and center.  The skeleton has really long arms and hands.  Height wise it kind of reminds me of a hobbit or something similar.

Funny thing was,  they found out what it was through DNA testing,  rather than some pygmy race they discovered it was really a juvenile chimpanzee that was 300 years old.

Okay, that makes really good sense then about the facial shape and the long arms and short legs.
