I had the original OP and then the OP2, but the OP3 is a beast.  I love the larger, rotatable screen.  I have a GoPro 11 that I use while scuba diving.

I’m waiting for waterproof case but I don’t see that product will come in the future

I think some 3rd party sellers will have them soon.  I really want to see some reviews before I try one out through.  I need to know what the limitations are.  What depth are they rated for, can you shoot both landscape and portrait, can you easily change settings with the camera in the water proof case, things like that.

I think it would work great for that.  Might also work great as an "umbrella" while shooting timelapse, etc.
