In Japan. Many people like to use a wide angle lens. I also like to use it when taking a walking shot. On the other hand, I sometimes feel a wide lens gives too exaggerated perspective for pan motion. Tilt motion looks good to me though. So I compared videos shot on Pocket 3 and SONY A6400 with a 35mm lens which is equivalent to 52.5mm.

To my eye, the DJI pocket seems better when panning left or right.  In all the other scenarios the Sony seems to have the advantage.

I'm sure the best way is to bring both. DJI Pocket 3 is very handy. No other cameras could replace it. On the other hand, when you take close up shots and you can take time, SONY is better. Bringing two cameras is not always practical though.

I just ordered a case up lens for the Pocket 3 to see if that improves close up shots,     hopefully shipping wont be too long.

The focal length is important for a lot of things
