Its a fine product but there are a few issues one that i think might be a reason for some to stop using it is the fact not all buttons are turned off when in 'locked mode'. Yes you can set it that once you start a recording you can't stop it by pressing the red-ring record button and that is nice but you can still with a simple press (that happens by mistake easy) press the powerbutton and turn on/off the noise reduction (confirmed by led going green to yellow). This a bad idea for multiple reasons if the feature is turned on it should also lock the on/off of the noise button. The whole idea about locking once you start recording is to make sure the audio settings don't change during recording. Also the whole feature is of auto-locking doesn't work at all when paired with the action4 camera where given that its for more action use where buttons are pressed even faster by mistake is also a issue. I hope this can be fixed in a next firmware since the lock function is close to what we need but forgetting to also lock noise reduction on/off makes it useless for many. I use the mic2 (kit) and action4 for ride along bicycle videos in the netherlands for reference. Daniel Ockeloen.

I understand your use case but for most having the ability to switch NR on & off during recording is when environmental noise is present is useful,, locking this button would remove that ability. I’m all for an additional option to do so but not tied into the existing record lock option it should be separate. Sounds like  a silicone skin or plastic slide holder  with button guard would  suit your need to prevent accidental activation waiting for a fw upgrade could be sometime. I would rather the low db record level was addressed early on but it’s not addressed by todays fw update

They could make that a option to lock both or not. I understand your usecase but the reverse is also true the risk of you or talent pressing it by mistake is just too high. As a operator you always have the option to switch it from the receiver if needed if you monitor. The core question is there is now no way lock the option and thats just to much of a danger.

Is there any update on this one? I also had this issue wherein I accidentally press the noise cancellation from the dji mic 2(while connected to Osmo Action 4)
