: I upgraded the inspire 1 to the 1.4.0.10, it upgraded 0k. I did notread the note about upgrading the remote with the 1.3.0 firmware. I have the1.2.1 firmware and the drone still works great. The app tells me I need to upgrade the remote. My question is, can I just down load the 1.3.0 firmware andjust update the remote and will I have any connection problems because Iupdated the inspire 1 first. I think I would have no problems, but I justwanted run this pass you first before I do it

I was having some problems updating and talked to dji tech support to get it ironed out.  They told me to upgrade the controller first with the 1.3.0 while the aircraft was off.  Then erase the 1.3.0 bin file off of the sd card and download the 1.4.0 bin file to update the aircraft.  Leave the controller off and upgrade the aircraft with the 1.4.0 bin file on the sd card.  When I did that the upgrade went smoothly and the text file verified it as successful.
