There is a new update to the mic 2 firmware as of today and I updated my transmitter and did a test, the big change is it defaults to Noise reduction now as soon as the
it connects to action 4, not sure I like that, but I think it does sound better and I did a 2nd sound check.  The background pick up seems much improved with noise reduction off.
near the end of the video a school bus goes by and you can clearly hear it and my truck sounds much louder and you can hear it as I walk away.

In comparing the two videos no doubt the sound is better with the latest firmware.  At least to my ears anyway.
