A little bit of hope towards the end.

There are rumors the sun is planning to make an appearance anytime (day) soon... hold your tickets!

Wow, no doubt about a super blue start to the day.    I feel for you but here is a fact that might cheer you up in knowing you aren't the only one  missing seeing the sun.  As you know Florida is called the sunshine state.  Well in January we had 21 cloudy days.

It's been a struggle for sure,  we got the old gaps in the weather but nothing to write home about.

Great news,   we headed out for a 10 mile walk this morning only to find a rain shower or two that were not forecast.

Absolutely,   we have a week of it now on the forecast with it turning to snow a week on Monday but I doubt that will happen.

We had so much rain I ran out of things to edit. Hoping to catch some new footage this week

lol,   Ive got a few flights on one location back in 2022 to get to,  but nothing older.

That's a while away. I transfer data off my drive every two months. So it' has to be edited before that.

I backup weekly to a NAS and then monthly a backup is done thats stored off site,   I also rotate memory cards so I have about a years worth of data on cards just in case.

Good to hear.

Not much going on apart from the shift in colors indeed.
But you never know with timelapses what you are going to get when you press the shutter

True, sometimes you can relatively safely skip.
I did that often this year in Tiveden because the evenings were not looking promising at all.
