That's a great idea as it will streamline the process a little as you can keep going with the same color paint.

Just went to the diy store. Wow, that wallpaper glue got expensive.
But I did get the brand I have used before many times. So far it never let me (or the wallpaper fall) down.
And 2 nice accessories that will help apply the glue (a roller that fits the box and a very big brush with long hairs.
I am curious which one I'll like the most.

A nice coat of paint is really going to bring out the color in that room.  Do people paint their external doors different colors are pretty much keep to white or off white?

Yeah, can't wait.
We just bought a tester for the accent color we want. But first I have to put up some wallpaper and let that dry.
Yeah, our front door (outside) is very dark green. Like very dark green.
The same as the windows.

I think so too. I'm going to try it out soon. Just 2 rows of wallpaper. So that can dry and I can apply the test paint tomorrow.

Oh yes, eggs have doubled in price here. Not sure why.
I doubt it's only cost.

Just applied 2 rows of wallpaper. I need those to test the color combination and also figured that it would be a good way to see if this roller does apply enough glue. Because it was quite thin even after doing multiple rounds.
So I'll see tomorrow how it dried up and hopefully we can test paint and order the big batch of paint.

I kind of like the sound of a dark green front door.  Green evokes a feeling of abundance and is associated with refreshment and peace, rest and security.

When I had a land house the neighborhood associations required white or off white front doors and if the windows had shutters they had to match the door color.  Glad I don't have to put up with a home owner's association anymore.

Better to do it that way that to paint a whole wall and not like it when it is dried.  Good luck with getting the wall paper up straight and smooth.

So far, so good.
I think I got to 2/3 today.
It was more work than expected and I had to get the paint also (it had a big discount this week), so I lost some time there.
But I'm completely toast now, so I have taken a shower and opened a beer to celebrate the weekend.
Tomorrow it's the proof of the pudding to se if everything dried up nicely.
