[size=15.008px]Some AVATA Fun today, recorded over the Yuletide period at a couple of Grey Arrows Drone Club NW Meet-Ups, at Wigg Island and Beacon Country Park.

[size=15.008px]I know it is perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea, but there is a lot of fun to be had flying low and fast, especially when you get the hang of shooting through the 2’ by 2’ hoops at up to 30mph…

Thanks... getting the hang of the AVATA in S mode now... Next is the FPV cnotroller, onc I can get hold of one

There's always a few of those controllers on eBay.

Very nice flying.    Looks like you had a fun time at the meet-up.

Yup... prising the cash from y husbands fingers is the issue - only joking need to pay off the AVATA this month, and then we need new carpet on the stairs and to get another external HDD to store this years footage on, then perhaps I shall have some funds for a controller...

I wish I could say it was an on-purpose move, but it was an absolute fluke, still, it shows I am not perfect and that learning is still ongoing, but it was fun when it continued flying forwards

Sure but the drone righted itself nicely. Did you try manual mode yet?

No, I need to get the FPV controller before I can try Manual mode, and I have to pay the finance off this monrth for the AVATA, and hubby wants new stairs carpet... Always something...

Thanks... we made the hoops, they are fitted with some battery operated white LED, so can be used at night too - hopping to get a night fly with the AVATA with its head torch in soon...

Thanks, fun it was... The last day we flew there it was surprisingly mild, folks were taking coats off as the sun was warm, but still, it will be better once the weather improves a bit more
