Interesting capture DA.    With the exception of the red eye it does appear like a somewhat drab start to the day.  Hopefully, conditions improve as the day goes on.

It's been pretty miserable here today.  Strong gusty wind and drizzle for most of it.    Didnt help that I got caught in a traffic jam with my dad in the car.

Popped out earlier and got stuck in a traffic jam,     two cars managed to crash on a straight road with a 30 limit and the mess they had made was out of this world,   only 2 fire engines,  3 ambulances and 3 police cars.

If they crashed head-on then the 60mph closing speed would cause carnage, I can imagine

I kind of had an idea after seeing the early day shots it was going to be a bit of a miserable day.  I didn't foresee the traffic jam though.  Sorry, I hate getting caught in them myself so I have an idea how frustrating that can be.

I looked like one car was damaged front and one on the drivers side,  that one was missing its wheels so must have spun out with some force.

Yes. that could have been avoided if my Dad hadnt confused the road names.

Well, in that case you just had to make the best of a bad situation.  No sense in getting to mad at your dad as that wouldn't have solved the problem at the time.

Pets are so tying. If you want to go anywhere you have to make arrangements for their welfare.
I'm too selfish for that - and so is Mrs.B.
We had several cats (one at a time) over the years.
But since the millenium we decided - no more.

Yeah, that is to be expected then.
Funny enough I read about how EASA rules are conflicting local legislation here in NL.
It was not about flying at night, but flying over railroads / roads (above 60km/h roads) which is not allowed in NL, but EASA had issued guidelines for these situations. They mentioned (on the site, which is usually well informed) countries can have their own legislation regarding using airspace which surpasses the drone rules.

It's not as unified as the EASA wanted. But probably not worth fighting for.

Ive noticed a new trend here,   that they are putting no fly zones into the map as red zones and then list them as areas where a temporary notam can be enforced.  In the past they would have been listed under a different colour.

They are using NFZ's here too quite often. Not sure about the notam though.
