Well, for all you quad-loving iOS people, Apple has come to the rescue - sort of. Just saw the announcement for the iPad Pro. It's really big - it might not fit the holder - I didn't see the exact measurements. It's kind of expensive - hey, it's an Apple product!

But it can edit four 4k clips at the same time, so it should have plenty of power for your P3P 4K videos!
You'll only have to fork out $799 (and that's probably the "starting" price!

Cheap at half the price. I'll take two.

The new iPhone 6s also records video in 4K. Could be interesting.

I forgot what quad uses the iPhone for it's camera.

I like the Ipad Mini 4 they announced, but was bummed to hear they're only giving it the A8 and not the A8X processor... why oh why would you do that???

Expect a 4k update for iMovie sometime in the next week to support the new phones. That will make it a lot easier to edit P3 Pro/Inspire movies on the Mac.

Probably because it has a smaller battery than the Air 2. It has the same number of pixels though. I use an iPad Mini 2 and performance has never been an issue so the Mini 4 will be a decent update (the Mini 3 had the same CPU as the 2).

I use a mini2 and performance has been an issue.... especially after ~15+ mins when the thing starts heating up.   I'm sure the mini4 will be better, but for me it isn't worth the $600 to upgrade from my mini2.  If it had the A8X chip, I probably would have upgraded.

The only time I have overheating problems is if my Mini is in direct sunlight and in the soft rubber case I use it with. If I remove the case and direct the AC to the window vents, I don't have the problem. I use mine for my map on long drives and the app uses a lot of GPU power.

Well this just means the Ipad Air 2 will drop in price which is what I'M waiting for!

I have a Pro and Iove it.
Problem is, nothing DJI fits it.
The holder on the controller doesn't fit.
The sunshade doesn't fit.
I'm stuck until everyone gets up to date.
For now I'm still using my old Air.

The iPad pro does look good. I might get on in a few months.

Stuff for the iPad Pro will trickle out slowly, but why does it take so long for UAV developers so ,long to catch up?  I don't expect things like sunshades or Pro size holders for a couple of months.,  Who knows how long DJI will take.

It's on the list. Right after the manual on how to use the Pilot/DJI Go app.

Third party developers will get in and make most of their money in the first 4 months after introduction. After that, the folks that don't recognize patents will sell for less since the original developer did all the hard work.  

DJI has some neat stuff, just that it takes them a while before coming to market. Case in point, the larger image sized camera and the IR camera for the Inspire 1. The Phantom 3 Professional cut heavily into that market before the upgrade to the camera.

I am holding steady, waiting patiently, and in earnest for the much anticipated, but never duplicated Apple iPad Air 3 128 1/2 gb Cellular. ;-)

It probably has it's own propellers for Cooling the  Jets. Hehe

Yeah, I hate it when the forum software glitches. I click Reply and it does not do anything so I hit it again and again then all of a sudden there are 3 post.
