So got the new firmware with

"Added Transmitter Auto Off, enabled by default. When enabled, the transmitter, when not connected to any device and without independent recording activated, automatically shuts down after 15 minutes of no use."

This is a big issue, if i put the mic on a talent and we have a break i need to run around and turn on the microphones.
Same if i use the microphone for motor vlogging or mounted on body in other ways i need to turn on the microphone manually more ofen, when i could just leave it running, battery time is not really an issue on this units.

Not beeing able to turn this auto off function off yourself is a big issue, to bad i did't read the relese note before upgrading before i had an awesome mic set up.
Now i have a mic set up that creates problems for me.

It seams like alot of peaople are complaining about this downgrade!

Then disable the Transmitter Auto Off setting. Done.

Assuming you have the receiver unit then…
1. Swipe down
2.swipe left to transmitter setting's and select
3. Swipe left until you see transmitter auto off and select option
4. Change to off
5. Swipe up, up, up to get to Home Screen

The Action 4 needs this option adding to the menu so hopefully along soon, the downside of stand alone mics is not having any control over some settings but maybe DJI could add options to the Mimo app…

What? It is possible to turn off. I have it turned off. You can find it from the menu.

That's only possible if you have the Receiver. But not if you use the MIC transmitter with the Osmo Action 4

I use the DJI MIC 2 with the Osmo Action 4. Indeed no option to change this setting. Very annoying.

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out. Yes, the DJI Osmo Action 4 supports Auto Power off. After setting the Auto Power off time in System Settings, the camera will power off automatically when there is no operation on the camera within the set duration. To set the Auto Power off time, slide down and then click "System Settings > Auto Power off " from the main page. The  Auto Power off duration can be set to 30 seconds, 1min, 2 min, 5 min, 10 min, and 30 min. Hope this helps.

OA4 with bt tx mic2

connect the camera to the microphone then you can select "switch off automatically"
