I've seen a few videos posted on the forum that way.  Seems the poster is marking the video on YT to only be watched on that channel.  I guess they do that to try and drive people to YT to get the clicks and counts.

I can see why. These days the algorithm is very harsh on creators. If you get a video that performs badly, your channel will suffer big times.

I think they have done that because of the large amount of new creators starting channels on YT.

It's all about the 'sellability of ad space'
No risk policy. If you 'behave badly' you should not get a lot of views.
