All those cars?  No, it's a popular parking spot for walkers.  In the past I've parked there to walk even further afield.

I did pass a walking group of about a dozen, up from Stockport.  I'd bet some of the cars were theirs.

Aw, that's a shame as I was betting that would have been a huge count for the day.  I didn't use to track steps until I got my Samsung S23 Ultra but It wasn't 100% accurate.  However, the S24 Ultra is a beast and very accurate when measuring steps, BP and work outs.  I don't do any of the competitive challenges but just challenge myself to hit 12,000 steps per day.

And I don't have any activity Apps.  But i can say with certainty that I was well over 12000

Well I do have a fairly long stride when walking on the flat, but up and down those hills does make a considerable difference. 24-30 thousand as a guesstimate

The Winking Man is well to the south of Buxton, but Buxton was inaccessible from our side most of yesterday.  That picture i took was opposite the AMore cafe in Chapel en le Frith, where we had lunch.

Well at least someone got snow,  all we have is rain and wind,  although the rain has held off for a bit so Ive been out and polished the car for my sins.

Six miles is another great walk.  I got in 3.5 miles early this morning but I got tired of walking directly into the wind so I turned back and let the winds give me an assist from the backside on the return trip.
