Thank you. I couldn't get the whole thing in at 400 ft., so I took some partial topdowns lower.

Maybe a mosaic assembled from several shots would cover the whole?

That would have mean't I was thinking at the time. Good Idea but I didn't think of it. I will try to revisit in the spring.

Great topdown shot.    Don't think I've ever seen circular formation for docks.  Interesting concept.

It keeps the wavers out. It's the Delaware river. I would imagine int filters out the wakes.

I will post one in black and white that shows most of it. It's so large I couldn't capture the whole thing at 400 ft.

Checked and commented, as you probably already noticed. A very nice picture, and you did a great job at capturing the larger structure.

Thanks unfortunately there was too much glare from that angle. Next time I will spend some more time on it. Thanks for the kind words.

Looking closer now, I can see the big spot of reflection, but I didn't find it distracting. The overall shape can still easily be seen nonetheless.

Yeah, some things are hard to fix in post.
Sometimes a conversion to B&W does mask errors better.

That's what I usually do. I had so many overexposed shots that II had too many black and Whites. It happens.

Yeah. I like to shoot AEB-5 just because of that. (so I still have 2 exposures that are darker and 2 that are lighter)

That makes sense. The sun was at a bad angle and it was bouncing off the water. I was happy to be there but my tiing was off.

Just to be on the safe side, I always shoot AEB-5
I would love the exposure difference would be bigger, but it is better than nothing.

That's true but there is always a battle for space on your card. I use 64 gb and shoot 4k video. I try to use lightroom to make up for the exposure. It doesn't always work though.

Not anymore. I used to. It takes to much space. I try to get the right exposure instead. DNG is great to get back your under and over exposed shots, but it takes lots of space if you get them right. and don't need it. Most of the time I can get it right if I'm not in a rush.
