Not anymore. I used to. It takes to much space. I try to get the right exposure instead. DNG is great to get back your under and over exposed shots, but it takes lots of space if you get them right. and don't need it. Most of the time I can get it right if I'm not in a rush.

I don't do DNG myself. AEB-5 takes even more space, but editing is more easy.

I wish i could. I have thrwe adobe subscriptions for work. All my employees and customers are on it. Trapped.

If you keep Adobe, there is no point in switching I think.
BTW, affinity photo also opens photoshop files

Like they say if it's free it's for me. I wish I could get off some of these subscriptions.

It's not free, but no subscription and a reasonable price (IMHO)
