Having eventually got all things balanced with my set up of the RSC2 and my Canon R6, I managed to get the zoom in and out working from the trigger (this included system calibration etc)

Sometimes though instead of zooming the gimbal would pan slightly


However the main issue is when I power off, instead of returning to the balanced position, it is pointing down - I am guessing this is because I have left the camera zoom out. So my question is - when balancing should I have the zoom at its maximum out position or its minimum in position - or at a central zoom position

Does it matter if when powering down the camera ends up facing downwards
