Great topdown though. If you were uniformly in the space it probably wouldn't have been as effective of a shot.

After 17 years of driving a LHD drive car, on the right, I was just re-acquainting myself with UK RHD

It works. I could never drive on the right hand side. I drove a moped in Bermuda and it was confusing. That was still easier because I wasn't in a car on the opposite side. Just the streets were opposite.

Having first driven in the UK for many years and countless miles, it didn't take long to re-adjust when we came back to the UK. That shot was taken a few days after I got that car.

If SWMBOd parked like that Id politely suggest (from a distance) that she tried again.   

Might have to inform DVLA your need thicker spectacles

Nice shot Mr. B.    But close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

The slightly off-grid parking certainly catches attention Nice picture! In our city, this kind of would be considered good-enough or even brilliant, tells a lot about our traffic culture

Yes Ive seen a few interesting parking attempts in France and mostly I dont want to be near them when they try.

Seems to happen here too, sometimes, as well. There are occasions when it does have a reasonable explanation though - we do have special permits for the people with disabilities that give them a bit more leeway to park however they need to. But often, many people in good health park all wrong or even may take places from the disabled people who would need them.
