The river Meuse in the French Ardennes have some small little villages where they have a big history with slate quarries.
The remains of the old quarries are still there and together with the gray and rainy period gives it all a mystical feeling.


Everything is shot with the Dji Mini 2 and Dji Osmo Action 4

It used to be a transportercable to transport the slate slabs to the boats. There was the motor and cablewheel situated. Nowadays nature is taking back what was his long before they begun to cut slate slabs

Couldn't make the shots that I wanted, but I'm happy with what I got. Always had the drone in reach so even when it was 5 minutes dry, he went in the air.

Glad to hear you had a great weekend. I've been busy this week prepping for an upcoming pistol tournament.  However the following week we have a 3 day dive trip coming up.

Patrick a friend of mind just returned from a combined business/personal trip to Belgium  He said that he visited Bruges and it was absolutely amazing.  However, he said he found a gem in a small city called Torgny.  As a Botanist he was most impressed with all the flora and fawna of that region.

Yes Torgny is a beautiful little gem. A little village in the same style as the villages in the south of europe.
Next time he comes to Belgium recommend hem Leuven and Ghent for the beautiful historical towns

Thanks for the info on those two towns.  I'll definitely pass that along to him.  He comes over every 4-6 months so I'm sure he'll make time to check these out.
