I’m sorry but as I have pointed out earlier, this “recommended cards” nonsense is unacceptable. The Sandisk Extreme 128GB card is sold by DJI, and is in fact recommended in the DJI store for both OA3 and OA4.

The OA3 model is about 1.5 years old and the OA4 model came out about 6 months ago. I believe this timeframe gave DJI plenty of time to test whether the Sandisk Extreme 64/128 GB cards are compatible with these cameras or not. Yet, DJI has done NOTHING to address this issue. If these cards indeed not compatible with these cameras, DJI should remove them from the store and not selling them for these models. However, if the cards are indeed compatible with these cameras then DJI should update the recommended memory cards list.
By not addressing the issue you are clearly creating confusion for the customers. Someone who never had an action camera buys an OA3 or OA4 model and also orders a Sandisk 64/128 GB card with it, since these cards are recommended for the cameras in the store. If the camera will malfunction or will have issues with the footage/recording, whose fault will this be? Will DJI take responsibility and refund the purchase price due to falsly advertising compatibility in the store? It can take way more than 2 weeks for a new user to realize the cards might not be compatible. And after 2 weeks DJI won’t even refund the price. I find that outrageous and DJI should address this issue asap. |
