Nice shots.   Shooting down at a white boat surrounded by dark water is always challenging to expose correctly.   Great job.

You are right. Usually, I am decreasing the exposure by one spot in manual mode so as to control the overexposure.

Hello, I really enjoyed your camera movements and framing of the boats, very well done.
Although, for the last shot, I think you used auto exposure, not manual, as the sun’s reflection (glare) on the water gradually got less blown out and the exposure adjustments looked automatically done.  Still, AE did the trick in that shot anyway !
