Gloomiest one yet - no hint of sun

Let's just say Im spending the rest of the day in the kitchen and then the workshop.

Nice lapse DA.    I think your weather prediction is going to be spot on.  Definitely a day for indoor  projects.

Ive actually been up ladders this afternoon to replace an air vent that birds had managed to get into,    it's quite fun when they are above your cooking in the ducting making a lot of noise.

I guess the smoke and heat coming up the duct wasn't bothering them too much.  No doubt it was a bit strange to be cooking and hearing bird noises just above you.  

Does look grim - did it smell anything like chicken cooking whilst fixing the ducting

It was a lovely job because before I could fit the new one, I had to clean out the piles of bird seed they were hiding in there.

Indeed,  and funny thing was I was getting alerts on my phone that the ISS was about to pass,  like I had a chance to see it.

I usually like to watch a pass by but why they would tell me at that time if day seemed a bit pointless.

Yes,  on a clear night it's visible with the naked eye,   its quite bright and comes over pretty fast.   There are loads of ISS spotting apps you can use to be notified when it orbiting your area.
