Thanks again. These larger jobs are important to me The winds were topping 32-34 miles an hour. I almost didnt fly it.

Yeah that is probably right at the max windage it could have been safely flown.

I had to wait an hour. When I got there gust were to 37 mph. A  little above my comfort zone. So thanks to UAV forecast  I waited and chanced it because there wasn't many obstacles. I had FAA Auth to 200 ft. 1 mile from Newark Int;. Runway. Another butt pucker flight.

Wow, no doubt about that being a marginally safe flight.  Sometimes you just have to go for it.

I didn't do a roof inspection before ti because it was in a residential area, with lots of obstructions, at least this was clear.

Man thing is you were able to get this footage safely.  

I saw on the news where that Pennsylvania drone flyer finally got caught by the FAA and fined right at $200,000.  Guy was warned and continued to flaunt the FAA rules.  He says he lives at home with his mother and is unemployed so he can't pay the fine.  Yet, he had enough money to buy several drones and fly them crazily.  Hopefully, they confiscated his drones.

It only takes one bad pilot making the news to wipe out all the good news about drone rescues, etc. Like we use to say in the Navy, one aww(...) wipes out all your attaboys.

That's the truth. I watched some idiot here flying over the police that were looking for hi for flying through the amusement park during peak season with people on the rides.. Then he was stupid enough to post it on Youtube, That dumb should not be allowed to fly.

Not sure will check on next flight. I'm supposed to fly it tomoorw but 40 mph gusts so will have to re apply for FAA clearance.
