Interesting dome on top of that building.  Looks like somebody was busy as all the sidewalks are now snow free.  Great capture.

I hope so. I am working with some people to document the campuses. This was a test. I have been racking my brains trying to automate flight with the phantom 4. It's allot more work than the newer drones. Whatever I saved in money I am giving back in time.

I like litchi but it doesn't allow for mapping. I spent 2 hours trying to get dronelink to work, which I paid for for the Air 2S. It costs about $30 per moth for the pro version but it automates grids maps, facades. orbits and waypoints while letting you photograph with set overlaps that make perfect maps.  Contractors pay good money for this service. The smart controller I use doesn't have enough memory to do the job consistently. This one I did manually because of the smart controller glitch. I missed a few overlaps in the right hand corner.

Litchi works great for everything but the mapping. There are adaptations to it, but it seems like nothing's perfect, except if you buy the pro controller and add tho that. Looking for a good used one, but event used they're $900.00. That hurts.

I have been going through which way to go. If I buy a mavic 3 enterprise it comes with a pro controller. That would do everything but cinematic photography which is what I really love but doesn't always pay the bills. That pro controller doesn't work with the mavic 3 pro, AIr 2s or any of the consumer drones on purpose. If  I buy a pro controller for the consumer drones I have which would solve my immediate issue it doesn't carry over to the enterprise product So I am stuck here trying to make due with what I have. I try to fight the more equipment impulse because if you run a business that way you have lots of equipment and no profit. If I was just flying for fun I would leave things the way they are and just say this is what I can do for what I have. I think sometimes it pays to wait and see what fate demands.

One of the drawbacks of a Prosumer Range I guess.
Nice for the dabblers like me to have some extra features - even though they may get little use.
But not quite sophisticated enough for the Pro users like you.
I do think that DJI have been a bit less that customer -friendly by not making the Pro controller work with the full range. A profit-driven tactic.

For my P2 a 128Gb
I have to process them immediately
These DNG files are huuuuge.
But they give me all the correction options in post (Davinci).
So I always convert them to a timelapse right away.

Fortunately Davinci makes it easy to do some color grading and exporting to a video. It's only that transferring that amount of data takes forever.
