Remarkable views.  I wonder what killed off those palms. Acid rain?  Frost?  The damage seems quite localised.

According to the locals on site, the cause appears to be a fungal infection, which could account for the white substance observed on the trunks.

Amazing place, great work flying and filming. One of the best shout films I’ve watched in some time. Beautiful area you live in. I have friends that have visited Thailand and came home overwhelmed with the landscapes, culture and architecture.
