Nice capture of the train DA.    You weren't kidding about getting all that rain.  Water soaked everywhere in that shot.

We were -2c this morning and we struggled to get the car doors open as the rain had turned to ice.  Sunny at the MIL though I didmi find inspiration to stop anywhere on route today.

Another lovely morning, though frosty.
Just took the Canon Pro1 with me today.  Not sure i did much good with it.

Thick white frost at home too,    I skipped sunrise as Im still not feeling 100% and the sky was very clear which didnt sell it to me,    took SWMBOd down to the cockle sheds for a walk at 9am,   but along there the frost had settled and there was a strong wind,  we only managed a couple of miles before we were fed up with it.

I wound up in the Amore café for a hot chocolate and a teacake
Got a couple of shots with the Pro1, but rested on a knee rather than a tripod.
Not really steady enough.

I realised that I've had the camera almost 20 years and it's largely been sitting idle.
This was yesterday. Wrong time of day, so the sun was at the wrong angle, wrong camera settings, and no tripod. I just rested the camera on my knee where I was sat. And this is a crop from the resulting image after I'd played about with colour, saturation, exposure etc.
I shall have to go back later in the afternoon on a sunny day, and with the tripod this time

I did go down to the water's edge, but there the trees obscure the view.

I'll be re-visiting occasionally, as it's only a couple of miles up the road.

Cold symptoms have passed but Ive been left feeling extremely drained of energy.   I even did a C19 test just in case the other day but It was clear.

  We're all in need of a bit of sustained Spring sunshine I reckon.
