What’s Fixed

What’s Fixed
  • Added support for Power Line Follow mode when using with M300 RTK and DJI RC Plus remote controller.
  • Added Efficiency mode when enabling IMU Calibration in LiDAR Mapping task. The number of calibration flights will be reduced during the task in Efficiency mode.
  • The RGB camera will not capture photos during the task if RGB Coloring is disabled when creating the LiDAR Mapping flight task.
  • Optimized Power Line Follow function:
  • When the aircraft hovers above the branch point, it is supported to pause the task and resume it after manually controlling the aircraft to fly through the branch point. The point cloud recording will not be interrupted.
  • When the aircraft hovers above the branch point, it is supported to control the gimbal using the dial on the remote controller.
  • Added Mark Branch Point feature. PinPoint will be automatically added at the branch point

  • Optimized Point Cloud LiveView display and reduced point cloud drifting when the aircraft is hovering.
  • Optimized the storage format of point cloud files to reduce the point cloud recording file size in some scenarios.
  • Fixed issue: When the gimbal connector was connected to the left USB-C port on the aircraft (when facing the aircraft), the app displayed that L2 was Payload 1.
  • Fixed issue: When RGB Coloring was enabled and the recording mode was switched to point cloud, users were unable to stop taking photos and start a point cloud recording in the app after pressing the shutter button on the remote controller.
  • Fixed issue: After failing to obtain the task quality report, the app showed that the report file cannot be found while the file existed in the microSD card.

  • Make sure that the aircraft firmware, the remote controller firmware, the L2 firmware, and the DJI Pilot 2 App are all updated to the latest version.
  • The point cloud data captured by the L2 with updated firmware requires DJI Terra v4.0.0 or later version to calculate.
  • The firmware cannot be downgraded to v01.00.0002 or lower after updating to this version.

Hi, i am setting up UGCS settings for new L2 firmware update, specially the IMU calibration during flight that needs to be performed every 200 seconds (instead of the previous 100sec).
In UGCS the parameters that can be changed is the time interval and distance interval. Time interval has doubled, from 100 to 200 seconds. Can the distance be doubled as well? instead of every 1000m, can we set 2000m or less? Thank you.

Hi, Panph. Thank you for patiently waiting. Here's an update from our relevant team:  IMU calibration needs to be performed at 200s intervals; the distance interval depends on the flight speed. For example, if the speed of the UAV is set to 10m/s, then the distance interval is 2000m;
If the UAV speed is set to 5m/s, then the distance interval is 1000m.
Distance = Speed * 200s
