Last time we had one here people were supposed to move their birds indoors but the amount of places we saw that didnt do it was shocking,   Im not sure whats so hard for people to follow the health guidelines.

Reminds me of C19.  Some people thought it was a hoax and paid no heed to health warnings.  You just can't fix stupid.

On the drive home we had thick fog,   a long delay due to a crash and thenvery heavy rain.   It's only about 100 miles away but takes about 3 hours on a good run due to the speed limits topic out at 50mph.

No,  and the district isnt interested in upgrading the road network,   they like it quaint.  It's probably why so many people holiday there.

You can have both right?
Efficient highways and slower 'nice' roads.
That is how we like to travel in Sweden. When we are just going on a daytrip, we take the slow roads.
If we have a long trip ahead, we take the highway.
