Hi,

Is there a third-party remote that isn't a wrist strap and is cheaper than the DJI ?

I'd like a hand-held one that wouldn't look like I was holding my watch as I walked around.
I also heard you can't pause recording, only start and stop...what a moronic design design that was !
One quick push is pause, a held/long push is stop....easy peasy user experience....but nooo, they were out having a sandwich during that conversation !

You dont have to use the wrist strap with the DJI remote.  

Pocket 3 uses the DJI mic 2 transmitter as a remote. but only to trigger the shutter, so possible if 3rd party gets one,  the action oneused those smartphone shutter fobs, people who   got them to work were not so keen in sharing the actual Url link to the  places they got from

put the remote in  your pocket
camera is in my backback
10m distance to remote  your cam is no problem

It's both....vlogging and home videos is likely more than half the usage of them.
