From the number of parking spaces, are those low-rise apartments ?

Nice big houses but tiny little gardens.

This was right off a very busy traffic route. The cookie cuter condos in different colors caught my attention. I just wish there was less salt all over the roads in this shot, but you get what you can.

Yeah, until they figure out a viable alternative to using salt on the roads that will always be a minor distraction on images.

Was cloudy and windy most of yesterday with the same forecast for today.

I was hoping to get out today the winds died down a little but still gusts to 25. We will see. I want to test out some new props and some mapping software today.

I hope you had good luck.  Winds have been steady 20-25 mph today with gusts up to 37 mph.  Too windy for flying.  So I went to the pistol range and then pressure washed my boat dock.  Probably not the best day to pressure wash with that wind whipping water everywhere but I got a free shower out of the process.

I've skipped the last couple of days. Too windy here to to enjoy it.

Tthe winds here are coming mostly out of the south which brings warmer temps with it but also moisture from the ocean.  I'm hoping it shifts to coming back out of the Northwest or West which usually diminishes any chance for showers and the winds are normally much calmer.  Oh well, I just got a ton of new target ammo in so at least I can go to the indoor pistol range on no fly days.

You know it's funny  Inoticed when I'm in NY the wind dies down at sundown but on the east coast of Florida around Fort lauderdale it picks up at sundown. I always thought the wind died down with the sun. But it must be something else.

I'm not a weather guess but I think it is because of the westward winds coming off the Atlantic Ocean meeting the eastward winds coming off the Gulf of Mexico.  South Florida tends to be much windier than northern Florida.

I was always under the impression that as the sun set the wind died down, but I guess not.

In many places the wind will die down once the sun sets but not here.  It was a bit like that also when I was in Aruba.

From spending time down in that area I'm thinking it is the trade winds coming off the Caribbean.  Last time there in July I remember some very gusty days.
