DJI Lightbridge 2

Is Lightbridge2 also aimed at the Inspire1 & Phantom3 platforms ?

If so, then it looks like you have to buy another Remote Controller to have 1080p on your device.
But when you look @ 0:45 you get the idea it will also be available as an upgrade to your RC as DJI does so with the Phantom3 - HDMI Output Module

Short answer, no.

The light-bridge unit on the P3 is built in above/with the VPS unit, making it (probably) to complex for a user upgrade.

This seems more like DJI gearing up pro-end products for professional users.   Maybe we'll see LB2 in a Phantom 4 or such?

DJI seem very busy adding to their range at the moment. The new camera for the Inspire looks amazing! I wonder if a new one will be available for the P3pro too? Or a P4ultra....

Yea, but it will cost a lot of mony  

no it is not and i doubt anyone would pay such price for use on their p3 and pushing it for the I1

The payload capacity for the inspire 1 is bigger as it has bigger motors and 6 cell batteries which gives it the ability to carry heavy loads as the xen mouse x5 is heavy and oh my its the ultimate flying micro four thirds camera with interchangeable lens, i am drooling as we speak.......

Now the inspire pilots are laughing at us, a week ago we were laughing at them, oh well.

Yeah DJI is gearing up to pro's and making a BIG gap between amateur and pro so they the big bucks buyers feel happy.

I want DJI to add 2K 50/60 to the P3pro as it is. The camera is capable of it as is - just a change in firmware. What do you think?

i want them to make gimble and camera separate items, so if u bust one u dont bust the other. why do u want a 2k? be ause of the frame rate?

Not gonna happen by DJI.

The lid would have to be made of e-glass or the gps won't get a signal...

A carbon fiber shell won't shatter like the plastic shell, but crashes will still destroy it.

Not really a big difference, I want burst mode in photo where I keep holding it keeps shooting like go pro, I want to be able to lock the gimble so I can use the f2.8 in low light still shots while not flying as an example taking long exposures of the night sky.

Everyone wants everything but I want things that CAN be done in software.

You can do both of those as it stands

Absolutely! Bring our cameras up 60 FPS at 4K if possible. Slow-mo at 4K would be awesome.

if the camera can then the SD card can't keep up with it, thats why on the xen mouse they have an SSD with an internal bus that can handle the speed of data.
