I need to downsize. Once my son goes out on his own. I will find a smaller low maintenance place and settle in  for life's winter.

Predominantly industrial area. Extensive docks. Took me ten minutes on Google Maps to figure out the viewpoint. Close to the southern entrance to the Hugh L. Carey tunnel ?
I think that's the ventilation building, projecting into the river from Governers Island, lower left.
Looking towards the Statue of Liberty Vista viewpoint near the helipad across the river.

If a place name is mentioned. I always get the urge to check it out on GoogleEarth or Maps.

Google earth is amazing. I'm waiting for them to figure a way to use it as a drone simulator so we can plan by flying on google earth. They have an airplane flight simulation

You can use a PS@ controller to move around in google earth bu tit doesn't work the same as your drone controller.
