DJI's site shows FAT32/exFAT file format.  Anyone know if I need to format my external drive to exFat in order to use camera output with Final Cut Pro X or is extended journaled OK?

Thanks,

Mac user

That will be the file system on the SD card. it doesn't matter what format your external hard drive is. Final Cut should only care what the file type of the video is, not what file system is used to store it on the hard drive. Does that make sense at all?
