Thanks - there are multiple 3rd party lenses on the market, that's why I was asking. I now ordered one with my dji credits - seems to be worth it.

For my Mavic 3 I was not able to by DJI one, so I purchased 3-th party and after several months DJI - DJI was way better

I can imagine. Especially in regards of optical quality the 3rd party often lacks... Thank you for bringen this wide angle lens to our attention.

Around the 2 min mark, there is quite a bit of distortion on the horizon.
Did you notice that too?

I now own the wide angle lens as well, and recognized huge distortion if the gimbal is not pointing straight horizontal. For me, this means the wide angle lens is nice for flights that are close to the ground, but absolutely not for flights in higher altitude where it is more likely that the gimbal will be tilted a bit.

Check. I think most adapters have this, but I was hoping DJI would correct this because they know it is attached (that is my assumption)

It is an old rail track that is not in use since approx. 2000, overgrown but still there. It was connecting a brickyard with the main rail towards Munich east.

All wide lenses add distortion to straight lines more visible when camera is tilted for the horizon, it can be fixed in post but I like it (usually camera is doing fixing but for included lens)

Yeah, I recognize it from the 2 wide angle adapters I had.
