A beautiful morning for a hike up to the Cage at Lyme Park. Very windy at the top.
An early start meant I got there by 09h00, with pictorial proof from the Pocket2

And a look at the whole edifice:

It's a sundial. The shadow thrown by the sun falls on the numerical face, showing the correct hour of the day.
Is this the correct meaning in your language?

Very nice find there. And the sundial is a nice reminder of the older times, looks very carefully crafted

Locally, it's known as a folly. But I think the technical term is a Belvedere.
It's been a hunting lodge at some stage. Deer roam in a section of the parkland.
I spotted them, but they were too far away to get a decent shot with the Pocket2 at full zoom.
And it's forbidden to enter that section of the park.

Thanks for that info.  Nice shot of the deer.  I'm assuming you can't fly over that section of the parkland.

I've seen that situation a few times here in the US also.  When that occurs I usually err on the safe side and just don't fly.

By noon (GMT) the sun has moved round to the next face of the tower, where there is a further sundial.
Then, on the west facing wall, I think there's a third one, although I didn't check.
And of course on the north facing wall there isn't one (see pic).
I don't think anyone has invented a Moondial yet

It's technically a Belvedere.  Used in the 19th and early 20th century as a hunting lodge.
Not actually a ruin -just no longer used.

There are several ways of telling an "estimated" time by using the moon.  However, you would have to know all the phases of the moon and several other things and it would still be an estimated time.

Administrator said he would further check with his relevant team and keep me updated.  I have been converting points on the 1st day of the month for the last 6 months without issue.  I have plenty of  exchangable points so that should not be the issue.
