Paul and I hooked up for a sunrise flight at Mam Tor (hoping in vain for cloud inversion but at least got a bit of sun and no rain). Did a bit of a chase but I hardly saw his 7 inch... Great fun and another big reason to return to the Peak District!

Being very early at that location is the only way to have it to yourselves.  The rest of the day (most days) there's a constant stream of people roaming over and around it. Although it's not as high as Kinder Scout, it's more accessible and therefore more popular.

Had an interesting afternoon following my trip to the pistol range.  When I got back to my boat and cleaned the pistols I had shot I discovered that the extractor slide was cracked.  I've shot over 10,000 rounds through this pistol without issue.  However, if anything broke that would be the first part I'd expect to go bad.  It is a relative cheap part and easy fix but the part is not available locally so I had to order it from the factory.  So it will be down for a couple of weeks.

It's a shame they didnt cover the drone itself in more details as Id love to know how they got it to fly like a rocket ship like that.

Probably didn't go into the details as they didn't want to give away their trade secrets. Still would have been really interesting to see how they pulled that off.

There seems to be some motion blur, so maybe they were on.
I just ordered a big pack for the Mini 3 Pro.
Don't use them too often, but I'm planning on keeping this drone for a while, so I figured, let's add the ND filters. My main reason being hyperlapses with some motion blur. So I wanted to check the ND1000 and ND2000, but buying those separate was already 50% of the complete package....

It's a completely different thing for a stabilized drone like the Mini as you normally don't fly fast and low above the ground so you don't see any motion blur or it would be unnatural.
It might increase contrast and - as you say - works for pictures = hyper lapses.

Yes, I had them before and seldomly used them (the lower densities).
But because they were kind of 'inexpensive' this way, I figured I wanted to go for the big package.

Be interesting to fly with someone else for a change.
