Hadnt used my mavic in a couple years, broke it out, charged everything up, downloaded the latest dji fly 4 go app everything seemed fine but I have a black screen. Ive tried official cable, my own usb cable, various phones like samsung s23 s8 , iphone 15 all have same issues black screen. I did a recalibrate, reset settings to default on everything, even downgraded frimware from latest to previous one. Drone has never been crashed and was stored in a case with all protectors on.

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out and we do apologize for the trouble. Can you please confirm what specific error messages are showing on the aircraft status (upper left-hand corner) under the DJI Go 4 app? Please take a screenshot and send it here so we can check it further. Please keep us posted.

Although you have a "blank screen" are you still able to connect to the aircraft and fly it without a phone?
Could it be that the controller is no longer sync'd to the aircraft? It's not a totally blank screen on your phone is it? If this is what I'm thinking it is, the phone/controller cannot talk to your aircraft for some reason.
Click the 3 dots in the top-right to bring up the menu, click the 3rd icon down, the controller, and scroll all the way down to Remote Controller Linking

Instead of the normal Micro-USB port on the left side of the RC, try using a USB-A cable from the bottom port of the RC to your phone/tablet.  You'll need USB-A to whatever connector type your device requires.

*Note you need to unplug the short DJI cable from the side Micro-USB RC port for the bottom USB-A port to work.

This has been tried, multilple cords across different brands. Only i havent tried is an older phone with a micro usb, i tried various phones with usb c and ihpone with lightning

Thank you for the information provided. Have you tried to connect both aircraft and remote controller via DJI Assistant 2 software and perform a firmware refresh? If not, kindly please try it and update us with the status. You may also try to reinstall the DJI Go 4 app on the mobile device that you are currently using to ensure a fresh connection. If the issue persists, please record a short video showing the operation issue for us to forward it to our engineers for clarification. Please keep us posted.

Have you tried your camera settings? This happens to me when I set the exposure and ISO too low.
