Hopefully, the fog cleared as the sun rose higher in the sky.

You got a couple of shots in, despite the fog.
It dogged us all day yesterday, spoiling the views we should have had on the hike around Chatsworth.

On the forecast the fog should have missed us and been ups with you and down the midlands.   It cleared to a light mist even with some 30+mph winds.

No, our group of 16 were behind the shot. Those two walked into view from a different direction.

Sometimes those light mists that hang on are worse than a heavy fog and then gone.

The weather guessers blew it again here today.  Zero forecast for rain today yet I woke up to it pouring down and many dark clouds overhead.

Same here,  there was supposed to be a short shower before breakfast and then clear for days,  now its just rain on and off for days,    pleased I changed my plans yesterday and also cut my parents lawn as it was getting silly long,  and then spend the evening installing the new fence panels at home,  although I did have to brave the rain for a bit to tweak the last panel as it was 45mm too narrow due to a post being somewhat wonky.

Yeah, fence posts can present issues when they are not put in exactly where needed.  Good that you were able to get the yard work done at the parents house before the rains hit.

Yeah, fence posts can present issues when they are not put in exactly where needed.  Good that you were able to get the yard work done at the parents house before the rains hit.

Im pretty sure they went in correctly but over the years the trees that have now been removed has caused some to move around.   Especially where one tree fell down and took out the fences around it.

Yeah, that could cause issues.  In my land house I had a big old oak tree in the backyard and the roots grew so far from the tree and near the surface that they lifted up one of my fence panels.  I was initially just going to take a chainsaw to it but then an arborist told me to dig underneath it and lower it down about 9 inches.  Turned out to be a chore to dig under and around it but I got it done.  Thinking back I should have just got out the chainsaw and whacked off that one root as I don't think that would have killed the oak or stunted its growth.

Woke up extra early to go out for blue hour only to find thick fog here again today,   the weather forecasts just cant seem to get a break and get one in thats correct these days.

ooh no,    never use a chainsaw on roots,    roots are full of grit/stone and they will destroy the chain saw blade in seconds.  You'll even see it spark.      

One of my posts Im pretty sure got moved from the neighbours bamboo,    that stuff is a real pain here and should be banned.
