Enjoy your motorcycle ride this weekend.  I really miss my Harley Davidson but I just had too many toys so something had to go and it was the motorcycle or my coveted 1966 convertible Corvette.  So motorcycle went.  

I don't have any real plans for the weekend except to experiment on some new marinades for the different meats that I love to barbecue.

Wow a Corvette, those are really nice. A man has to choose, I myself am already a biker from my 16year and it never left my heart. 34years in the saddle and still loving it.

I've had several really high offers for the Corvette as it is a true classic.  However, I have no desire to sell it.  Nice to take it out for a weekend drive on occasion and kind of "show it off".  

2 of the 3 marinades I whipped up turned out really good.  One bombed as it was way too spicy and hot.  I love spicy but this was blistering hot.  I'm thinking it was the Datil pepper juice that produced all that heat.  Lesson learned on that one for sure.

The rain that was forecasted today only begun at 7.30pm so we had some luck. But now it's pouring and they say it will last untill tuesday at least :-/

so right, that classic car has to be out and showed. Just enjoy it and don't sell what you love.

I also like spicy but to hot isn't good either. Fine that the other two turned out.

Good to know you also like spicy foods Patrick.  Yeah, I was happy that the other two marinades turned out really well. I will use them again in the future.  I have some bear and elk meat coming so I'm sure I will up a special marinade to use on them.

Never eaten some bear, but it sounds delicious.

It depends on how you prep and cook it.  It came be a bit gamey tasting.
