Thanks Charles. It was very windy that evening, but I put the Mini3Pro up to about 25m AG. As brief a flight as possible as the drone was bucking around like a mad thing in some pretty vigorous gusts.
5 minutes was all it took, but I was a bit anxious the whole while

Yes I downloaded it and had a play about with it, but I haven't grasped yet how to use it effectively.
I've got Darktable as well.

Very interesting article.  Glad they were able to rescue and save some seedlings from the Sycamore Gap tree.  No doubt the perpetrators who fell the tree are still in some bad trouble.

Nothing like a nervous stomach and some adrenaline on a quick flight. But you got something good and that's what counts.

With a gusty wind like that, there are moments of lull (quiet). I managed to manouevre the drone during the lulls, and land it the same way.

Tuesday I have 4 Shopping plazas to do at 65 ft. They are automated mapping flights and I am scared of those handsy trees. They seem to be around the perimeter of these lots. I am not used tho trusting automation. or trees.

That is pretty low, in relation to the height to which mature trees can grow. I try to remain above 40m wherever possible, so the trees can't reach me You're obviously constrained by the requirements of the mapping though. Good luck with it.

I do the same I like 200 ft. I feel safe there.
