If you look in the bottom right you can just make out the cattle device I posted last year that we couldn't quite figure out.   

can you do fishing there ?

Remarkable shot DA.    I see what you were mentioning now.  Until you get plenty of sunny days I don't foresee the cattle feeding there anytime soon.

Indeed,    theres still quite a lot of surface water. even the ruby pitch has a corner missing.

It doesnt seem to matter what the forecast says,  weve had rain everyday this week when the forecast was clear.

We also had some mild rain on days that should be 100% dry.
Not sure what happened there as there were no visible clouds nearby.

I think the weather satellites might all have been broken or infected with malware.

I think they use actual radar for the short term rain prediction.

Ah water buffalo would be the go. I think I saw a recent article of a farmer in SW England who had a herd of buffalo and was producing mozzarella.

It's a very low frequency radar that can see anything 1500m and above. So anything below is not picked up. And if there are hills etc. 'in the way' it's even higher.
