Nice topdown shot.    Seems all the boats are ashore until Spring arrives.

Whenever I'm over docks I try to get a decent topdown. The water was brown here so I went with black and white.

They're all shrink wrapped in the corner of the marina.

Yes, they are completely shrink wrapped in white plastic. I would think it's an expensive process.

No doubt it is but much cheaper than the repairs would be for leaving them out all winter with no shrink wrap and totally unprotected.

I think it's a great idea. It keeps all the winter elements out.

Unless you are on a boat cruising in the North Atlantic in the winter and there are 40 foot swells bouncing you up and down and trying to maintain headway in 100 mile per hour winds.

There are really 5 big things that worry me when I take my mini-yacht out to cruise to the Caribbean or anywhere far off shore:
1 - Collision with other vessels at sea or a large object partially submerged
2 - Failure of key equipment
3 - Severe weather
4 - Fire
5 - Sinking

No matter how well you plan you always have to be ready for an emergency and just adapt and try your best to overcome it.  When all else fails radio the Coast Guard, put on your life vest and hope you don't become a shark's meal.

I woke up to clear skies and no winds.  Maybe the weather forecast is going to hold true for today.  I've got  all my batteries on chargers and getting excited to go fly.
