I read a story years ago about how in china they are told to pick a second western name to use for business and some of the ones that had to be rejected were characters from Disney films as they didnt know better.

Now that's quite the interesting story. Things do get lost in translation from one country to another.  Even here in the US a term in the North might be considered derogatory in the deep south.
