I will be for a while,   weve already had words as although he'd sheeted up he did cover my new tulips that have not long come up.

5 were crushed on the last visit and they are gone Im sure,  the others I think we saved in time.    I am slightly peeved that they are doing all the work to their wall from my side without even asking if it's Ok.

Seems they have sprouted a bit early this year, especially with the cold weather you've had.

This is the first year I have grown them there so it's hard to say,  but plenty of other bulb based flowers are out like the daffodils.

That sounds great.  I eat a lot of broccoli and asparagus.  Maybe I should think about planting a small garden.  Nah, veggies are already cheap and readily available at the local farmer's market.  If I had a garden I'd have to fight with weeds and insects and keep it watered.

You might be surprised how much fresher they are when you can pick and eat in under an hour.
